Book Your Session
The pre-shoot consultation can take place over the phone or in person. If you would like to meet with me in person, we can meet at my studio or at a destination within 10 miles of 78751. This is when I will learn about you and your pet, and we will discuss logistics as well as the desired outcome of the shoot. We will set a date and time for your shoot as well as a backup date in the event of bad weather. If there are any lingering questions, additions, or ideas you have, do not hesitate to call or e-mail me.
Session/additions fees are due at the end of the pre-shoot consultation.
With the parameters of the shoot discussed during the pre-shoot consultation, we will meet at the location at our scheduled date and time. I always take a bit of time before the shoot to talk with you and greet your pets.
For each package, there is a pre-determined amount of time that we will be shooting for. Shoot time encompasses the setup of gear, actual photographing time, and any travel time between locations.
I do not set timers during my shoots. If you have scheduled a 90 minute session and our time is up when we're in the middle of trying to capture a spectacular action shot, I'm going to continue shooting until I get the photograph. This is at no extra cost to you, but just an added benefit of your photographer being 'in the zone'.
Once your photo shoot has finished, I will whittle down your images to the very best. Once I've corrected the photos for exposure and color, I will create an Adobe Lightroom gallery where you will select the photos you want. Simply click the link and sign into Adobe using your Facebook or Google account. You can even leave comments on the photographs!
The retouching process will take 2-4 weeks. The amount of time depends on the session you've purchased, the type of retouching that is required, and the number of photos chosen.
Retouching is the most time-consuming step of the process. I book only a few shoots a month to ensure that each photograph you choose gets my full attention.
Image Reveal & Print Consultation
Once the retouching process is complete, you will be notified that your images are ready. This is, in my opinion, one of the best parts of the photographic process. You will finally see your finished photographs and get creative deciding how and where you want them displayed!
The printing consultation can be held at my studio or in your home. I will provide you with samples of all of the fine art prints available, and I will help you choose which mediums you would like to print your photos on. We will discuss the various fine art collections available, and I will help you decide how best to display your beautiful photographs.
I will put all of the finished photographs in your personal gallery on my website. You can download each web-friendly image and start showing off your fabulous photo session to friends and family!
Delivery of Prints
Once the prints are finished, they will be delivered to my office. I will examine each print to make sure the quality is as promised. Then they will be re-packaged and sent your way!
If I find issues with any of the prints, I will let you know what the problem was and give you an estimated turnaround time. Your prints will be taken back to the printer to troubleshoot. No extra charge will ever be sent to you for re-printing due to a printing error.
